Lauren Adler Dear, MS, RDN (she/her)

Lauren, the owner at Dear Nutrition, brings warmth, expertise, and a deeply personal understanding to her work in digestive health and eating disorders. Her approach is shaped by years of experience in nutrition education, organic farming, and her own GI diagnosis.

Lauren sees clients virtually and in person in Melrose, MA.

  • Lauren's passion for nutrition grew out of a love for cooking and growing food. She was brought up in a food-obsessed Jewish household where the freezer was always so full you had to stand back before opening it.

During her college years, Lauren spent five months traveling and working on farms in a variety of jobs. After graduating in 2005, she worked on two organic farms in western Massachusetts, and also taught gardening, nutrition, and cooking to elementary and middle school children. These experiences shaped Lauren's approach to nutrition counseling. Her own GI diagnosis inspired her to specialize in digestive health.

In Lauren's free time, she can be found experimenting in the kitchen, taking walks around Boston, collecting vintage kitchenware, and most of all, laughing, playing, and eating with her husband and kids.

Lauren is a contributing author to The EDGI Project: Comprehensive Nutrition Therapy for Co-Occurring Gastrointestinal Disorders & Eating Disorders., a handbook for dietitians.

Lauren also collaborates with Dr. Vera Denmark at https://denmarkdigestive.com/ to support her patients.

  • Molly’s passion for nutrition has always been centered around helping those who struggle with their relationship with food and body. Her approach to counseling is rooted in intuitive eating, body neutrality, and finding peace with food. A provider who incorporates the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, she treats each client as an individual and develops a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs.

Ally Green, MS, MPH, RDN
(she/her)

Ally combines her expertise in eating disorders and GI health with a compassionate, non-diet approach to help clients find peace with food and their bodies. Her personal experience with IBS brings added empathy and understanding to her work.

Ally sees clients virtually.

  • Ally is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist whose love for food began in her grandmother’s kitchen, where she experienced the joy of baking Italian desserts and cooking big dishes of spaghetti and meatballs.

After years of studying medical science and completing public health coursework, Ally’s interest in food and nutrition has continued to grow as she works to help others move towards a healthier life. Her approach to nutrition counseling is centered around the principles of Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating. She has also been able to utilize her own personal experience with IBS and GI disorders to work more effectively with clients who have similar diagnoses.

Ally has continued to develop her skills while working for Monte Nido at the Eating Disorder Center of Boston as its primary dietitian, providing meal support and nutrition counseling for individuals and groups.

In Ally’s free time, she enjoys spending time hiking with her husband and two dogs, biking, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new places.
