Olivia Templeton, MS, RDN (she/her)

Olivia brings a compassionate, individualized approach to her work with clients experiencing eating disorders and gastrointestinal concerns. She is dedicated to helping clients better understand their bodies while building a more flexible, sustainable relationship with food.

Olivia sees clients virtually.

  • Raised in a Greek family where food was central to connection and community, Olivia developed an early appreciation for the powerful role food plays in people’s lives. Her interest in nutrition began through athletics and quickly grew into a passion for helping others heal their relationships with food after witnessing how often body image pressures, diet culture, and digestive symptoms negatively impact well-being.

Olivia deepened her expertise in eating disorders while working in an adolescent residential treatment program, where she supported clients through nutritional rehabilitation, meal support, exposure work, and the emotional and physical complexities of recovery. She also has a strong interest in gastrointestinal health, particularly the gut-brain connection, and recognizes the complex and individualized nature of GI conditions.

Her work is rooted in individualized, compassionate nutrition care that honors each person’s unique story, culture, and lived experiences. She takes a personalized approach to both eating disorder and gastrointestinal concerns, helping clients better understand their bodies while building practical skills and self-trust for sustainable, long-term healing. Her approach is grounded in Health at Every Size®, food neutrality, and intuitive eating, while supporting clients in navigating gastrointestinal symptoms and challenging diet culture through client-centered nutrition education.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes, spending time outdoors, and being with loved ones.

Lauren Adler Dear, MS, RDN (she/her)

Lauren, the owner at Dear Nutrition, brings warmth, expertise, and a deeply personal understanding to her work in digestive health and eating disorders. Her approach is shaped by years of experience in nutrition education, organic farming, and her own GI diagnosis.

Lauren sees clients virtually and in person in Melrose, MA.

  • Lauren's passion for nutrition grew out of a love for cooking and growing food. She was brought up in a food-obsessed Jewish household where the freezer was always so full you had to stand back before opening it.

During her college years, Lauren spent five months traveling and working on farms in a variety of jobs. After graduating in 2005, she worked on two organic farms in western Massachusetts, and also taught gardening, nutrition, and cooking to elementary and middle school children. These experiences shaped Lauren's approach to nutrition counseling. Her own GI diagnosis inspired her to specialize in digestive health.

In Lauren's free time, she can be found experimenting in the kitchen, taking walks around Boston, collecting vintage kitchenware, and most of all, laughing, playing, and eating with her husband and kids.

Lauren is a contributing author to The EDGI Project: Comprehensive Nutrition Therapy for Co-Occurring Gastrointestinal Disorders & Eating Disorders., a handbook for dietitians.

Lauren also collaborates with Dr. Vera Denmark at https://denmarkdigestive.com/ to support her patients.

Ally Green, MS, MPH, RDN
(she/her)

Ally combines her expertise in eating disorders and GI health with a compassionate, non-diet approach to help clients find peace with food and their bodies. Her personal experience with IBS brings added empathy and understanding to her work.

Ally sees clients virtually.

  • Ally is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist whose love for food began in her grandmother’s kitchen, where she experienced the joy of baking Italian desserts and cooking big dishes of spaghetti and meatballs.

After years of studying medical science and completing public health coursework, Ally’s interest in food and nutrition has continued to grow as she works to help others move towards a healthier life. Her approach to nutrition counseling is centered around the principles of Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating. By challenging “diet culture” and embracing flexibility, she guides her clients toward cultivating a guilt-free relationship with food and with their bodies.

Ally completed her internship training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where she studied with Lauren Adler Dear and others. She has also been able to utilize her own personal experience with IBS and GI disorders to work more effectively with clients who have similar diagnoses.

Ally has continued to develop her skills while working for Monte Nido at the Eating Disorder Center of Boston as its primary dietitian, providing meal support and nutrition counseling for individuals and groups.

In Ally’s free time, she enjoys spending time hiking with her husband and two dogs, biking, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new places.
